The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Miami, FL. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Range: $30 - 35/hr depending on experience
Contract: 4 months with possible extension and/or conversion
100% onsite in Miami, FL
Job Description:
- Responsible for providing day to day technical support and driving complex root cause investigations, for the instrument manufacturing product lines, including the assembly and final test processes, to drive quality and on-time delivery for our customers.
- You will be a part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for providing technical support to the manufacturing lines of diagnostics products.
- Lead in solving technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause through design of experiments and working cross functionally with other teams in the organization.
- Develop and implement new or enhance existing manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies, and final products.
- Coordinate the implementation of changes due to process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher required
- Quality / process engineering within manufacturing
