The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Hazmat Shipper for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in St Louis, MO. Details for the position are as follows:
Title: Hazmat Shipper
Location: St Louis, MO, 63114
Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension/conversion to hire)
Hourly Rate on W2: $20-23.50/hr.
Job Description:
Coordinate with production personnel to collect small-quantity samples from GMP manufacturing areas.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), declarations, and tracking records.
Determine appropriate hazard classifications and shipping procedures per regulatory and GMP standards, seeking guidance from R&D and QC as needed.
Maintain GMP compliance throughout all shipping processes, ensuring proper labeling, traceability, and documentation.
Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule compliant and timely shipments.
Maintain an organized inventory of UN-approved containers, absorbents, labels, and packaging materials required for HazMat shipping.
Monitor and track shipments to confirm delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
Participate in routine safety and compliance training; maintain up-to-date certification in hazardous shipping regulations.
Support material transfers and staging activities as needed; forklift experience preferred for handling heavier goods.

The Small Quantity HazMat Shipper supports the Research & Development team by coordinating and executing the safe shipment of hazardous materials in small quantities. Operating within a GMP-regulated environment, this role ensures timely and compliant shipping of raw ingredients, compounded concentrates, and flavor extracts to internal and external partners.
