Production Pilot – AH-64D/E Apache
Mesa, AZ | Onsite | 1-Year Contract | Full-Time, 1st Shift
Compensation Range: $65.72 – $105.83/hr (W2)
We are seeking an experienced Production Acceptance Pilot to perform maintenance operational checks, test flights, and in-flight troubleshooting on AH-64 Apache helicopters. This position requires strong technical and flight experience, with responsibility for ensuring airworthiness after production, maintenance, or modification activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC), Maintenance Test Flights (MTF), and in-flight troubleshooting.

Validate airworthiness following production builds, major maintenance, or system modifications.

Use AH-64E technical manuals, checklists, and operator guides to perform and document flight operations.

Provide detailed briefings to flight crews and maintenance teams in support of test operations.
Required Qualifications:

Completion of U.S. Army AH-64E Apache Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC) or equivalent contractor-approved training.

Minimum 1,000 flight hours as an AH-64D/E Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

Current FAA Class II Flight Physical (with at least 6 months remaining).
Preferred Qualifications:

AH-64 Aviation Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phases I & II (or equivalency evaluation by DES).

100+ hours as an AH-64D/E Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP).

Prior MTP experience in desert environments.

Experience as an AH-64D/E Maintenance Examiner (ME) or Technical Inspector.

10+ years aviation maintenance experience, including supervisory and production control leadership.

5+ years using aviation maintenance management systems such as ULLS-A(E)/ACN.

Duration: 12 months

Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, variable start/end times; occasional overtime and domestic travel.

Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance post-start.
