Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma minimum education (required)
- Prior warehouse and inventory management experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and documentation skills
- Experience using computerized systems in a regulated or validated environment (preferred)
- Forklift or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Willingness to complete all required training and certifications
- Commitment to safety and cGMP compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end material logistics in a cGMP environment
- Receive, sample, store, and distribute materials in compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform weighing and kitting of direct materials for manufacturing
- Handle and ship hazardous materials according to guidelines
- Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, drum lifters)
- Perform data entry and maintain accuracy across various systems (SAP, LIMS, DCS, POMS, PQS, etc.)
- Prepare and ship raw materials to other Genentech manufacturing sites
- Wash soiled parts/equipment using specified cleaning tools and processes
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper documentation
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure 100% inventory accuracy
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times
- Identify and escalate process or safety issues as needed
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures, report incidents promptly
- Support miscellaneous material handling duties as needed
