Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Bay Point, CA 94565
Shift: 1st shift Hours, 5:00AM - 5:30PM (4 days on 4 days off and the day’s range. It could be Mon-Thurs one week & Tues - Friday another week)
Duration: 11+ months (with potential extension/conversion to hire)
Hourly Rate on W2: $30-37/hr.
Job Description:
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair breakdowns or malfunctions of plant, facility utilities, electrical and mechanical equipment, utilizing contractors and outside services when necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule, document findings, order parts, and make repairs as needed.
• Develop skills in machining, alignment, welding, electrical work, pipefitting, preventative as well as predictive maintenance, with the ability to train others in at least two or more of these areas
• Maintain all facility systems and utilities including boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, sprinklers, gas piping, chillers, process water, HVAC, pest control, alarm, sanitary, and storm sewer systems
• Perform work orders as assigned, communicate the status of mechanical, electrical, and/or maintenance issues to affected team members and departments, and document any major problem areas.
Qualifications:
• Successful Brillium testing required
2-5 years of experience working in a maintenance role for a manufacturing/industrial company.
• Background as an electrician is a plus
• Technical certification/degree a plus
• Proven ability to work in compliance with safety and health standards as well as site policies.
