Job Description:
- Pay: $30–$35/hour (based on experience)
- Duration: 2-month assignment with potential for extension, depending on performance and budget
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (onsite)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s global trademark portfolio, including filings, renewals, enforcement actions, and coordination with domestic and international counsel
- Monitor for potential infringement, support brand protection strategies, and serve as the primary point of contact for trademark clearance, usage, and compliance across cross-functional teams
- Oversee global docketing and deadlines, assist with budgeting and invoicing, and prepare reports and training materials for internal stakeholders and leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with a Paralegal Certificate (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (required)
- Experience in trademark portfolio management, ideally within a global corporation or law firm handling large international portfolios
- Strong knowledge of USPTO practices and international trademark systems (e.g., Madrid Protocol, WIPO)
- Proficiency with IP docketing and portfolio management software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage global deadlines and high-volume workloads
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is a plus
