Project Manager III (Change Management / Procurement Transformation)
Location: Libertyville, IL
Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday
Contract Length: 1 year (with potential extension)
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III with strong Organizational Change Management expertise to support a Procurement Transformation initiative. This individual will partner with the Associate Director, Procurement User Experience, ensuring a consistent Change Management strategy across workstreams and capability pillars. The role is highly collaborative, focused on enabling adoption of new Source-to-Contract (S2C) technology and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management Assessment & Strategy
- Conduct stakeholder and change readiness assessments.
- Align leaders and sponsors on the case for change and develop actionable plans.
- Build and maintain a change roadmap and dashboard.
Change Management Development
- Design and deliver communication and engagement strategies.
- Create and implement training plans, materials, and documentation.
- Develop change network approach and coordinate change-related events.
Application & Delivery
- Develop or update training materials (virtual instructor-led, web-based, self-service).
- Partner with training systems (Procurement Academy, SAP Learning Center, LERN, ComplianceWire).
- Execute communication, training, and adoption plans.
- Document lessons learned and support hypercare after go-live.
Change Tools & Focus Areas
- Sponsorship: Ensure procurement leaders champion the change, communicate consistently, and role model new behaviors.
- Integrated Change Management: Build excitement and momentum across procurement and business partners; manage communications, events, and project SharePoint.
- Adoption & Reinforcement: Prepare teams for post-go-live hypercare and transition to run-state with strong self-service documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of project-related experience.
- Proven expertise in Organizational Change Management (OCM).
- Experience leading business transformation projects.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership alignment skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Procurement Transformation experience.
- Prosci Change Management Certification (ADKAR)
Work Environment
- Collaborative team-based office setting.
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Tue–Thu), 2 days remote (Mon & Fri).
- No travel expected.
