Job Description:
- Pay is $34-37/hr to Start.
- 18-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (Fully Onsite).
- Will be part of the Analytical R&D Laboratory Automation team to support the development and implementation of automated protocols for vaccines, antibodies, and protein products.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot automated laboratory workflows utilizing robotics platforms and integrated instruments.
- Configure and optimize automation systems to align with experimental objectives and data management systems.
- Integrate and connect various analytical instruments with laboratory automation platforms.
- Assess current manual laboratory processes, identify opportunities for automation, and collaborate with scientific staff to convert manual protocols into automated workflows.
- Support lab automation needs and provides technical assistance to end users.
- Document procedures and create best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical, Computer Science or related field with at least 1 year post grad experience in a lab environment OR MS degree with no post grad experience is Required.
- Strong experience using and troubleshooting automated lab equipment such as liquid handlers / plate readers / washers / dispensers / robotic systems is Required.
- Experience with programming such as Python / java / JavaScript / C# is Required.
- MS Office experience is Required.
