Location: Hybrid – 1-2 days/week in Stamford, CT
Pay: $36.13-$39.74/hr
Assignment: 3.5 months with potential to extend or convert
About the Role
We are seeking a Social Content Strategist & Copywriter to help elevate the social presence of executive leadership at a Fortune 250/500 company—specifically focusing on LinkedIn content for the CHRO and other CXO-level leaders.
This role plays a key part in driving employer brand awareness and fostering employee pride through compelling, thoughtful social content that amplifies the work and culture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling LinkedIn content and copy to support and amplify executive leadership visibility, with a focus on the CHRO.
- Craft messaging that highlights internal initiatives, promotes employee engagement, and showcases company culture.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Corporate Responsibility, PR, and Internal Comms to ensure aligned and timely messaging.
- Identify and source content opportunities across internal teams—Employee Resource Groups, Corporate Citizenship, Employee Surveys, Campus Programs, etc.
- Conduct interviews with internal employees to uncover authentic stories worth sharing externally.
- Create and present copy and content ideas (including supporting assets like images or video) for stakeholder review and approval.
- Stay current on industry best practices and peer CXO social content to inform strategy and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Use performance analytics and platform insights to optimize content and improve reach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
(In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant corporate social media experience will be considered.) - Minimum 3 years of copywriting experience, with a strong command of LinkedIn and its features.
- Prior experience in employer branding and/or social media marketing with a focus on people, culture, or employee engagement.
- Strong project management skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute content while also contributing to strategy.
