Location: Princeton, NJ (100% Onsite)
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Potential to Extend or Convert)
Pay: $45-$51/hr
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support critical financial planning and analysis functions for a global business. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong Excel skills, a systematic mindset, and a background in financial consolidation, reporting, and strategic analysis. The ideal candidate has recent Fortune 500 exposure and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for P&L and balance sheet metrics, including annual plans, long-range plans (LRP), and latest best estimates (LBE).
- Support and manage financial planning processes and maintain planning calendars.
- Develop and maintain financial consolidation and reporting tools/templates.
- Monitor and report on monthly financial performance metrics, including sales, expenses, CCC, and IBP.
- Partner with Global Marketing to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and revenue reconciliations.
- Analyze daily and weekly sales reports and provide projections to senior management.
- Maintain finance scorecards and provide cross-business analytics.
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling, data analysis, and decision support for senior leaders.
- Collaborate with corporate teams, divisional VPs, and stakeholders to support PFN-related business processes, consolidation, and submissions.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, particularly in FP&A roles.
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data manipulation).
- Expertise in financial modeling, data mining, and business analytics.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to collaborate across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
- Experience supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Background in manufacturing finance or global marketing finance.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, streamline processes, and work cross-functionally.
- Exposure to Fortune 500 companies in recent roles.
