Remote Role with preference to Eastern Time Zone. travel around 20-25%. Travel would be to any of our Facilities across the country. OT Required for this role, more than 50% of the time hours will be 50-60 hours a week (OT paid at time and a half).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with multiple cross functional engineers to bring a solution from concept to reality.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to Design / Develop conveyer control solutions & control panels for Automated machinery
- Create and maintain Electrical layouts / Schematics
- Develop and debug controls system software.
- Ability to provide technical expertise in Controls systems design
- Perform design and code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in: Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in control systems / Electrical Panel design engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN
- Familiarity with the following programming languages: Ladder Logic
- Familiarity with the following software platforms: Studio 5000/ RSLogix, FactoryTalk View, and AutoCAD, Solid works, AutoCAD
- Ability to Lead and/or assist in project definition, specification, purchasing follow-through to installation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in software and hardware.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations with associates from all levels of management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of servo drive and VFD functionality.
- Working knowledge of industrial control systems equipment.
- Motion control experience.
- Warehouse operations management experience or experience with warehouse management and/or execution systems.
