We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Business Operations Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is based in Santa Clara, CA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $48/hr to start
- Duration: 6-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week; Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Quality & UAT: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new and updated datasets, dashboards, and reports to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business requirements. Develop and execute structured test plans in coordination with data engineering and business stakeholders.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies using AI-assisted methods. Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and SQL.
- Insight Generation: Convert data into actionable insights and compelling narratives that identified key performance drivers and improvement areas. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert, working cross-functionally with teams including Business Operations, Sales Ops, Finance, Strategy, and Product. Support analytical initiatives, UAT processes, and pipeline modeling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics) – Required
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role supporting business operations – Required
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation – Required
- Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to build interactive dashboards – Required
- Proven experience leading UAT for data products and reports, including test plan creation – Required
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Notebook LM) for insight generation – Required
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis – Preferred
- Background in cybersecurity or the tech industry – Highly Preferred
