USA - Lab Technician

Social Circle, GA

Currently seeking a Lab Technician for a prominent client of ours.  This position is based in Social Circle, GADetails for the position are as follows:
  • Pay: $30-33/hr.
  • Shift: 6:00am-6:30pm; 2-3-2 work schedule
  • 12-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Responsibilities:
  • Testing via USP and EP Compendial Methods and Requirements
  • Conduct critical biological, chemical and physical analyses of Raw Materials, in-process and final products to support manufacturing facility production schedules.
  • Perform documentation and review of test data following good documentation practices.
  • Enter final data in LIMS and other computerized systems.
  • Perform advanced biological and chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills and
  • understanding of biology and chemistry principles.
  • Complete all testing, including special project / protocol testing in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs, product specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations.
  • Investigate deviations and write exception documents.
  • Participate in team functions to address production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings and improve quality.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Quality Control within a cGMP environment is required
  • Experience with GC, HPLC, ICP-MS, etc. is required
  • Experience with USP/EP/Compendial testing is highly preferred
  • Experience with raw material testing through finished product testing is preferred
  • Experience with LIMS is preferred
  • Experience with Trackwise/Empower/Minitab is preferred
