Community Manager I

El Segundo, CA

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Assistant Manage of Social Media and Content for a prominent client of ours.  This position is based in El Segundo, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

 

Job Description:

  • Pay: $20–$26/hour to start
  • Duration: 3-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM start time
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create & Manage Content: Develop, produce, and appear in short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Maintain weekly/monthly content calendars aligned with brand campaigns and always-on storytelling.
  • Lead Production & Collaborate: Film, edit, and lead social-first shoots and IRL activations. Collaborate with creators, photographers, internal teams, and influencer/talent teams to execute cohesive content strategies.
  • Engage & Optimize: Write compelling, on-brand copy for captions, campaigns, and community touchpoints. Support daily audience engagement and community management. Monitor trends and share performance insights with the broader team.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2+ years of social media experience (Required)
  • Proven experience creating social content, especially for Reels and TikTok (Required)
  • Basic editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma (Required)
