The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Warehouse Specialist II/ Material Mover for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Worcester, MADetails for the position are as follows:
 
Title: Warehouse Specialist II/ Material Mover
Location: Worcester, MA 01605, USA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6AM – 2:30PM or 2:00PM - 10:30PM
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension/conversion to hire)
Hourly Rate on W2: $24/hr.
 
Job Description:

The Material Mover is responsible for managing the neutral side of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient movement and organization of materials between the warehouse and manufacturing suites. This role requires diligent oversight of the neutral corridor to ensure it remains organized and that any delays in material movement are promptly addressed.

 

Responsibilities:

• Stage materials to weigh and dispense, buffer & media prep.

• MB21 and Kanbans to be moved to respective suite passthroughs within 72 hours of order placement or same day (Kanban).

• The material movers will not be responsible for movement of items beyond the pass throughs.

• Compliant with cGMP SOPs.

• Coordinate recycling of single use bags and waste from suite pass throughs.

• Material requests to suites.

• Return materials to warehouse with appropriate form (prepared by suite).

• Coordinate cold delivery of materials with specific BUs.

• Oversee and manage the neutral corridor, ensuring it is organized and free of obstructions.

• Escalate any items that remain in the neutral corridor for an extended period to the appropriate personnel.

• Coordinate the movement of materials into and out of the passthroughs to manufacturing suites.

• Support the movement of materials to glass wash and other relevant areas accessible from the neutral corridor.

• Maintain accurate records of all material movements and escalate discrepancies immediately.

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures while handling materials.

• Communicate effectively with warehouse and manufacturing teams to facilitate smooth operations.

• Collaborate with other team members to support overall manufacturing processes.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication skills to interact with various departments.

• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
