The Fountain Group are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Lab Technician, Microbiology for a prominent Chemical and Consumer Goods Company client of ours. This position is in Bowling Green, KY. Details for the position are as follows:

- Pay: 23.00/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 9 month contract to start with potential for extension or conversion.
- Recent grads are welcome to apply.
- Masters/Ph.D would be considered overqualified.
- Training will be provided. Position will train on Day Shift, 8am-4:30pm, Mon – Friday. Training will last 4-8 weeks (depends on the person).
- After training, position will move to 2nd shift schedule: 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Sun – Thurs or Tues – Sat. Ee are flexible on which grouping of days is worked but must be one of these.
- Experience with microbiological testing required.
- Finished product and raw material testing.
- Gram-staining.
- Stocking of inventory, media, and reagents, managing laboratory waste.
- Environmental monitoring including testing process water, air sampling, and swabbing of equipment (limited).
- Plate reading and communication of results.
