About the Role:
As a Finance Lead within Company’s BEST SG&A team in Tampa, FL, you will report directly to the Director, SG&A and collaborate with a dedicated team of finance professionals. This is a key opportunity to contribute to the financial health of L'Oréal Corporate through financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights. You will work closely with business stakeholders and finance leaders to ensure compliance, track performance, and provide analysis across all aspects of the P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own budget, trend, and actual analysis, including full P&L consolidation.
- Prepare, analyze, and review month-end close, trends, and budget data.
- Assist with senior management presentations, providing risk and opportunity analysis to support better decision-making.
Risk & Opportunity Management
- Perform real-time tracking of all P&L risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze Compass reports.
- Act as a liaison between Brand Controllers, ensuring accurate exchange of budget, trend, and actual data.
- Provide analytical support and business insights to enhance decision-making.
Cost Control & Business Partnering
- Lead monthly budget meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure cost control and alignment with objectives.
- Prepare monthly journal entries/reversals for QVC accruals and actual reporting.
- Work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and deliver value.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, interpretation, and presenting insights effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (minimum: XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, INDEX MATCH), SAP General Ledger experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Business Partnering: Strong relationship-building and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field required.
