We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Portfolio IT Project Coordinator for a prominent client of ours. This position is Fully Remote. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $29/hour to start
- Assignment: 6-month contract with potential for extension based on performance and budget
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Location: Fully remote (must work PST/CST hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Planning & Governance: Lead the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of initiatives using strategic frameworks such as Run/Grow/Transform and Lean Portfolio Management. Facilitate annual and quarterly planning cycles and governance forums to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Financial Oversight & Value Tracking: Partner with Finance to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking. Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs and value metrics to assess business impact and ensure financial alignment.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Reporting: Establish strong relationships with IT, Business, and Finance leaders to support informed decision-making. Provide comprehensive portfolio reporting on delivery health, financials, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
- Proven experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial oversight
- Strong background in project planning, execution, and governance
- Experience in the IT industry is preferred
