Sharepoint/Power Platform Business Analyst

This is a hybrid role (3-4 days onsite; 1-2 days remote) in Fairport, NY; Will need to be fully onsite during training and first weeks / month.

  • This role is a Business Analyst/ Business Process Analyst role.  
  • Seeking an analyst who knows SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Planview is strongly desired.
  • This project involved moving/migrating manual processes and files to automated for tools including Sharepoint Online, Microsoft 365 Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Will be focused on data/files/tools and processes that support these tools migration, process mapping, and flow charting. 
  • Must be able to provide let the program managers know what tools/ processes can do, cant do, what will work and what wont in terms of the tools.
  • Reports/dashboard creation (some visualization) this will tie into the process mapping and workflow charting

  • Support the Project/Program Management group in driving process improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • This Analyst will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by developing and maintaining metrics, dashboards, and digital workflows.
  • The role will focus on enhancing visibility into project performance, resource utilization, and process efficiency through tools like Power BI, Planview, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools, and the ability to collaborate across functions to support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics.
  • Support the migration of project management data and workflows from SharePoint to Planview, ensuring data integrity and usability.
  • Assist in the transition of SharePoint 2016 content to a modern SharePoint environment, including workflows, lists, and document libraries.
  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of Power Apps to digitize forms and enable mobile-friendly data entry and tracking.
Required Education/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or project support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Planview or similar project portfolio management tools.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint administration and workflow migration.
