Currently seeking a Microbiologist in Piscataway, NJ. Details for the position are as follows:
- Pay: $25-27.22/hr.
- 6-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Perform microbiological testing and sample analysis using aseptic techniques and established procedures.
- Collect, process, and interpret test results accurately, drawing sound scientific conclusions.
- Communicate testing status updates effectively with management and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and unexpected delays to meet deadlines and project milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant professional experience is Required.
- Working knowledge of aseptic technique, pipettor, handling of media and working in biological safety cabinet is Required.
- Experience with environmental monitoring is Preferred.
- Experience with endotoxin or bioburden testing is Preferred.
- Experience with TOC analysis (total organic carbon testing) is Preferred.
