We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Responsible for maintaining and supporting the computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices used in the laboratory environment.
- Troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system stability, and potentially managing inventory of lab computing resources.
- Provide on-site desktop support to scientists and lab technicians in a GxP-compliant laboratory environment.
- Install, configure, and maintain lab-specific hardware and software (e.g., LIMS, Chromatography Data Systems, ELNs).
- 2,500 computer systems supported -- Windows 10/11 all types, peripherals/printers/scanners, Laptops, Desktops, and Tablets.
- Installs, configures and troubleshoots server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and standard IT troubleshooting.
- M-F, 8-5PM
