We’re seeking a seasoned Program Manager to support a global transformation initiative aimed at streamlining and optimizing Meetings & Events (M&E) management across international markets. This position plays a key role in Project Genesis, a high-impact initiative to establish a centralized M&E Center of Excellence (CoE).
This is a high-visibility, hybrid role with a global scope—perfect for someone with expertise in program management, stakeholder coordination, and change management within large matrixed organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the M&E CoE project across OUS affiliates
- Serve as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams, affiliates, and global stakeholders
- Coordinate with Procurement, BSG, and other key teams to ensure project alignment and resource readiness
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Manage project budget, timelines, and key milestones
- Provide regular updates and executive-level reporting
- Drive change management strategies to enable process adoption and operational transition
- Support the rollout of tailored training initiatives for global teams and suppliers
- Maintain alignment with AbbVie’s compliance, brand, and quality standards
Top Skills Needed:
- Project/Program Management (5–7+ years, pharma/healthcare preferred)
- Organizational Change Management
- Stakeholder Engagement across global/regional levels
- Strong Communication & Leadership Skills
- Experience in meetings & events planning (preferred)
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
- Proven experience managing high-complexity, global initiatives
- Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet (experience with event management platforms is a plus)
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
- Clear track record of cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and implementation success
