Remote role, but must work PT hours 8-5 Pacific Time.
MANAGER NOTES
- This role will manage a scrum team full time and fulfill a typical Product Manager duty such as joining standups, gethering requirements , prioritizing work and manage stakeholder communications as well as creating one-pager/PRD where needed, and provide updates for leadership (spreadsheet, deck, etc.)
- Top skill sets: Salesforce CRM experience (Admin highly preferred), Product Management, Project Management (doesn't have to have the title, but has Done the job of a Project Manager as part of the PM role).
- Optional skills: Salesforce Data Cloud or another CDP (Customer Data Platform) experience HIGHLY preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM is a must for this role.
- Having worked in Marketing or with/for Marketing team will be great.
- Must be skilled enough to work independently and able to navigate ambiguity.
- Someone who does not get overwhelmed easily with a high volume of work and context switching.
- Someone who is able to handle 5-10+ workstreams at the same time is highly desireble.
- This is a true Sr. PM role from skill perspective and requires sufficient experience, and experience working with a broad set of stakeholders/background will be highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage a scrum team and day-to-day execution of tasks and deliverables.
- Gather & clarify requirements where needed.
- Write user stories and manage prioritization.
- KPI tracking and handle documentation.
- Communicate progress to collaborators, functional owners, and internal team members
- Coordinate release announcements/communications (Slack announcements, documentation, etc.)
- Coordinate as required cross-functionally and with other teams to drive engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience, preferably handling data products from inception through launch and iteration.
- Ability to quickly understand systems and technical concepts and an ability to jump into high-level architecture and related conversations in order to explain to Data engineers and other business partners.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency, within a distributed remote and global organization.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with shown creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Experience working with remote/global teams and governance structures.
- Consistent track record of delivering successful products, concurrently and at scale.
- Shown ability leading scrum teams, writing detailed product/ technical requirement documentation.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce products; Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud. Admin/Advanced Admin Certification will be a huge plus.
- Solid understanding of database fundamentals and data flows, including how data is stored, structured, and accessed. Comfortable working with engineering teams to discuss concepts like tables, queries, APIs, and data mapping at a high level.
- Prefer a Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or equivalent business experience
