- Pay: 40.32/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 1 year to start with potential to extend or convert based on need and budget.
- Manager is open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.
- Plan, coordinate, and perform high throughput expression of biotherapeutic proteins using suspension CHO cells at various scales (plate based, tube based and flask based) with automated platforms; Determine key cell-culture parameters and interpret findings.
- Transfection, Culture monitoring, Harvest, Titer determination and Western blot analysis as needed.
- Design and produce DNA for use in transient and stable transfections. Perform molecular biology techniques as necessary: cloning, DNA scale up, sequencing analysis.
- Thorough understanding of cell culture basics.
- Hands-on experience in cell culture (mammalian) and exceptional aseptic techniques.
- Hands-on experience in handling automation/HTP antibody expression is nice to have but not required.
- Knowledge of DNA and molecular biology including basic DNA quality assessments.
