Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for manufacturing operation. Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces.
- Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts.
- Provide training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems.
- Participate in capital projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in a relevant role
- Knowledge in computer and PLC programming skills such as: VB, .net, C, Realtime systems or similar
Desired Skills:
- Ability/experience integrating computers into manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and lower cost
- MS Windows, iFIX, EthernetIP I/O, Microsoft Office. Real time controls systems, experience with motion systems (desired but not required), SCADA, Twincat
- Experience in production support in a manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to understand real needs behind operations and engineering requests
- Ability/experience troubleshooting simple low voltage electrical circuitry
