Actuarial Analyst – Pricing and Rate Filings

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Associate for a prominent client of ours.  These positions are in Arizona (REMOTE). Details for the position are as follows:

Actuarial Analyst & Associate
Direct Hire | $95,000–$140,000/year (DOE) | Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Analyst
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced analytics to support product pricing and benefit design strategies.
  • Develop models and tools to ensure alignment with organizational profitability and performance goals.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
  • 2+ years of actuarial experience or equivalent relevant experience at grade level 28 or higher (required).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (required).
  • Healthcare industry experience (preferred).


Associate

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in an actuarial field
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • None required

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in a healthcare organization or health insurance environment
    • 5+ years in actuarial or healthcare economics
  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Certifications:
    • ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries)
    • MAAA (Member of the American Academy of Actuaries)

Essential Job Functions

  • Work independently under minimal supervision; report to a director or manager
  • Lead complex projects from planning through implementation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide actionable actuarial recommendations
  • Present technical concepts and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Mentor and train junior analysts
  • Incorporate strategic and long-term planning into actuarial analyses
