The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Associate for a prominent client of ours. These positions are in Arizona (REMOTE). Details for the position are as follows:
Actuarial Analyst & Associate
Direct Hire | $95,000–$140,000/year (DOE) | Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced analytics to support product pricing and benefit design strategies.
- Develop models and tools to ensure alignment with organizational profitability and performance goals.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
- 2+ years of actuarial experience or equivalent relevant experience at grade level 28 or higher (required).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (required).
- Healthcare industry experience (preferred).
Associate
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years in an actuarial field
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- Licenses & Certifications:
- None required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years in a healthcare organization or health insurance environment
- 5+ years in actuarial or healthcare economics
- Education:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Certifications:
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries)
- MAAA (Member of the American Academy of Actuaries)
Essential Job Functions
- Work independently under minimal supervision; report to a director or manager
- Lead complex projects from planning through implementation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide actionable actuarial recommendations
- Present technical concepts and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Mentor and train junior analysts
- Incorporate strategic and long-term planning into actuarial analyses
