Key Details
Contract: 6 Months (with potential extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $38–$48/hour
Location: Mettawa, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior PowerPoint Designer to support a high-volume, high-visibility role on an internal creative team at a global biopharmaceutical company. This is not a general graphic design role — 90% of the work is PowerPoint-focused. You’ll be working closely with the Presentation Lead to meet the growing demand for high-quality, brand-aligned presentations across the organization.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability, a creative team environment, and the chance to make a real impact through expert presentation design.
What You’ll Do:
- Create visually compelling, branded PowerPoint presentations that simplify complex content through data visualization, layout, and storytelling.
- Use Slide Master templates and layouts effectively to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Presentation Lead and internal teams to manage a large volume of slide design requests.
- Design charts, infographics, and multimedia-enhanced slides that adhere to brand standards.
- Follow creative direction while also offering design solutions that improve visual communication.
- Support other design-related tasks depending on skillset (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (necessary for full-time conversion eligibility).
- 2+ years of agency or in-house design experience focused on presentation design.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills required: Slide Masters, animations, transitions, multimedia, layout, typography.
- Strong design portfolio showing actual PowerPoint work — not just static samples.
- Must be able to discuss how you used PowerPoint features (Slide Masters, animations, etc.) to solve design challenges.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, brand-centric environment.
- Professional, detail-oriented, organized, and self-sufficient — but also collaborative.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- A true PowerPoint expert — not just a designer who “knows” PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting executive or senior-level teams with high-quality, fast-turn deliverables.
- A strategic visual thinker who can help turn raw content into clear, compelling storytelling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction, ask the right questions, and deliver great work under pressure.
