The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Fabricator (Machines) for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Houston, TX. Details for the position are as follows:
Title: Fabricator (Machines)
Location: 621 Lockhaven Dr, Houston, TX 77073, USA
Shift: Onsite M-F 7:00am -3:30pm.
Duration: 12+ Months (temp to perm)
Hourly Rate on W2: $22/hr.
Job Description:
Primary Duties: Wind, Cut, peel and process Clock spring coils for stock and orders.
Secondary Duties: Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• They will have a respiratory fit test once onsite. They will wear full PPE for this position head to toe working with chemicals, steel toed boots, eye protection, face mask, gloves, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
• Frequently required to stand/walk.
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel.
• Frequently required to talk or hear.
• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
• Frequently work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; loud; very loud)
• The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 Pounds.
• Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Forklifts, cranes, saw machine
