We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Diego, CA. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- $27-44.82/hr to Start!!
- This position is a 6 month assignment to start with possibility of extension or conversion.
- On Site
- Position will be responsible for designing and cloning expression vectors and IVT donor plasmids to support research initiatives.
- Position will also execute DNA and mRNA transfections in mouse and human cell lines.
- Position will also assess nucleic acid expression through molecular methods like qPCR, reporter assays and Western blotting.
- B.S with 5+ years OR M.S. with 2+ years of experience is Required!
- Strong molecular biology background is Required!
- Experience with advanced cloning is Required!
- Experience working with Snapgene is Preferred!
- Experience in genetic manipulation of cell lines and primary cells is Preferred!
