- Pay: 40.00-44.73/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 1 year to start with potential for extension.
- Interview process: 1 in-person interview.
- This position reports to the Director, Oligonucleotide Chemistry as an individual contributor. Daily interaction with other peers in oligo synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and biology teams in support of early phase product pipeline.
- This is a drug discovery/R&D position. This group holds bloodline within entire company for all oligonucleotide test particles used to discover new treatments for diseases that have a genetic component or can be treated using oligonucleotides.
- Scope of work: Help with analytical side of work in the group. Run mass spec + do some maintenance of the instruments, and purification of oligos, synthesizing oligos.
- Need to be well versed in mass spectrometry.
- Experience analyzing and method development of oligonucleotides is nice to have but not required.
- This position will support therapeutic programs in multiple disease areas and will contribute to the development of nucleic acid conjugate platforms.
- Prepare analytical samples, analyze and process data, primarily by UPLC, LC-MS.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments.
