Financial Master Data Analyst

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Financial Master Data Analyst for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­Tampa, FLDetails for the position are as follows:

Job Title: Financial Master Data Analyst (Hybrid)
Location: Tampa, FL - Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Duration: 13 Months
Pay Rate: $35–$37/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Master Data Analyst to support accounting and finance operations by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of master data. This role will play a key part in maintaining financial systems, improving data governance processes, and supporting cross-functional teams within a global finance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update Finance Master Data, including Chart of Accounts, in alignment with corporate standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of master data tasks.
  • Collaborate with General Ledger, R2R, I2P, C2A, and Treasury teams to support end-to-end financial processes.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and guidelines.
  • Track and report on KPIs and performance dashboards for assigned business units; propose improvement plans when needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for operational and technical questions from local teams.
  • Identify and escalate data risks, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support data integration between SAP and other internal systems.
  • Participate in finance master data projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or a financial data environment
  • Familiarity with supplier relationships and accounting regulations
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial processes
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform quality checks and enforce compliance
  • Experience with process improvement and change management

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, TM1, Blackline, Tiger, or Magnitude
  • Shared Services Center (SSC) background
  • Experience in service management or lean process improvement
