Maintenance Technician

My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Deland, FL. Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 

• Pay: $27
• Shift: Hours: 3:15pm to 11:15pm, Monday-Friday
• The industrial maintenance technician is responsible for safely supporting Deland’s maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of all machinery and equipment within the plant.
• Our Maintenance Technicians work with minimal supervision while providing manufacturing technical support to department engineers and designers.
• Key responsibilities/essential functions include performing electrical repairs and installations, interfacing with production operators to ensure equipment readiness and performance and performing preventative and predictive maintenance.

 Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance concepts.
• Knowledge of three (3) phase industrial electricity and power distribution.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.
• Must be able to read and write simple statements.
• Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment.
• Experience working with steel microfibers, maintaining CNC and PLC machines, and working with low voltage controls in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired.
