Job Description
We’re seeking a highly skilled Excel Modeling & Data Analyst to support forecasting, planning, and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Excel, strong SQL capabilities, and the ability to build tools that turn raw data into actionable insights for business users across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex Excel models for forecasting, planning, and business analysis.
- Automate data processing and reporting using advanced Excel functions and VBA.
- Design user-friendly models that integrate various data sets to support demand forecasting, supply planning (e.g., safety stock/buffer calculations), NPI/EOL planning, and inventory reporting.
- Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in preparing S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) materials with clear and impactful data analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from databases (e.g., GCP).
- Integrate SQL data with Excel models and Tableau for real-time reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop models tailored to business needs.
- Document all processes and logic related to model automation and reporting workflows.
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA scripting
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Strong ability to work with and analyze large datasets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communication; able to collaborate across multiple teams
- Familiarity with supply chain planning concepts is a plus
- Experience with Tableau and integrating data from SQL into visualization tools
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting models is highly desirable
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related field
