- Pay for this position is 25.00 to 37.75 hourly depending on experience.
- This position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.

Requirements:
- B.S./B.A. (preferably in relevant scientific discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Recent biomedical, bioengineering, or similar graduates will be considered.
- Medical Device experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using physical testing equipment and software is a plus but not required (e.g., Instron, Zwick, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Job Description:
- The Device Development Laboratory Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of life-changing medical devices and combination products.
- The job consists of essential physical testing for R&D, verification, complaint investigations, and stability programs within a cGMP environment.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment through clear and effective communication.
- Prepare and execute a variety of physical tests for routine and non-routine samples to collect and record experimental data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular laboratory maintenance and compliance activities.
- Manage laboratory supply inventory to ensure uninterrupted testing operations.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic technical issues, proposing effective solutions.
- Actively contribute to team projects and process improvement initiatives.
